Daughter was completely dry this morning. She brought out the things she'd borrowed from the library and asked me to stop by and return them on our way to her program this morning. I'm beginning to think that maybe contact with Birth Brother will be positive. At least she knows he's safe in the States recruiting instead of in Afghanistan or Iraq. She's expressed fear for his safety several times. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Now to enjoy my day off-- from church and Daughter!

Caution is the word. Seems like your DD thrives on drama and will probably run with this in a big way, e.g., if he were deployed in a war zone she'd fret and cry over his impending demise but seeing that he's here in the U.S. of A. she's going to demand to go see him.
Facebook, IMHO, is of the devil, especially in the hands of gullible or malicious young people.
Good luck.
That program worker was way out of bounds for not contacting you when she found out what Your DD was up to.
I suspect she will want to see him at some point. I am relieved because I don't think he will ever want her to come live with him. That was my fear.
I hope you're right about him not inviting her to live with him. If he's the shifty type as you say he might try to get his hands on any money that she has coming to her in the form of SSI or something similar.
